What it is
Eleven bands, DJs, and one swimming pool in the foothills of the Santa Catalinas. SPF26 is an all-day music festival and pool party at Rancho Linda Vista — a working artist community since 1968 — and a benefit for the nonprofit that keeps it running.
Bring a towel. Get in the water. Stay until dark.
❋ Where it happens
Rancho Linda Vista, Oracle, Arizona — about an hour northeast of Tucson, up in the oak and granite at 4,500 feet. Music happens poolside; the historic Wilson Barn is a short walk away.
❋ What $20 gets you
Ten hours of live music, pool access all day, drinking water on site, porta-potties, and a lifeguard on duty. Kids under 13 come free.
❋ Who it’s for
All ages. Families, first-timers, and music lovers. The pool is the middle of the party, not a side attraction.
❋ Where the money goes
Every dollar goes back into RLV OracleArt — artist residencies, barn concerts, and the upkeep of the historic buildings and land at the ranch.

SPF26 is a fundraiser.
Rancho Linda Vista has been an artist community since 1968, and for over 20 years the Wilson Barn has been its gallery and event space — residencies, workshops, exhibitions, and barn concerts.
Historic adobe and land don't maintain themselves. Ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations from this festival fund the residency and fellowship programs, keep the barn concert series going, and pay for preservation work on buildings that have been standing a lot longer than any of us.

Why we’re doing it
Know before you go
The essentials
No glass. None.
This is a pool deck with bare feet on it. Glass containers of any kind are not allowed past the gate — bottles, jars,growlers, candles. Cans and plastic only. We'll turn glass away at entry, so please repack before you drive up.
Lifeguard on duty
A certified lifeguard is on the pool the whole time music is playing. Swim at your own risk outside those hours. Children in the water need an adult with them.
Water is free
Drinking water stations are on site all day. It's Arizona in September — bring a refillable bottle and use it more than you think you need to.
Food from Riot Grill
Riot Grill is running food service all day on site. Bring cash or card.
Bring your own — and take it back out
Outside food and alcohol are both welcome. What you carry in, you carry out: this is a working artist community and a residential ranch, not a venue with a cleanup crew. Pack-in, pack-out, and don't leave your trash for the people who live here.
Please leave animals at home
No pets at the festival. There's livestock and wildlife on the ranch, limited shade, and a crowded pool deck — it isn't a good day for a dog. Service animals are welcome; email us ahead so we can plan a shaded spot.
Kids under 13 are free
All ages, and no ticket needed for anyone under 13. Bring floaties. Kids need to stay with a guardian, especially near the water.
Accessibility — read this first
Honest heads-up: the ranch is a historic property from the 1930s and the festival grounds are not ADA compliant. Expect unpaved paths, gravel, uneven ground, and grade changes between parking, the pool deck, and the barn. Restrooms are porta-potties, which are not wheelchair accessible.
We don't want that to be the reason you stay home. Email info@wilsonbarnarts.org and tell us what you need — closer parking, a golf cart ride down, a seated spot with sightlines, whatever it is — and we'll work it out with you before the day.

We are a residential area and a community at one with the land. Please respect our homes, neighbors, each other and the nature around us. We reserve the right to remove anyone who fails to respect the boundaries of the festival and its attendees.

Rancho Linda Vista in Oracle, Arizona — roughly an hour northeast of Tucson, 90 minutes southeast of Phoenix. Full address and directions are at the bottom of this page. Cell service is patchy on the property, so download your directions before you leave town.

Yes. That's the point. The pool is open all day with a lifeguard on duty, and bands play poolside. Bring a swimsuit, a towel, and sunscreen.

Gates at 11am, first act at 12pm. Come early if you want the good shade and easy parking.

Limited parking is available on site, on unpaved ground and the neighboring street. Please carpool if you can. We’ll provide a map upon the purchase of your ticket.

Camping spots are $50 each. Primitive sites with porta-potties nearby. First come, first served while supplies last, and they have to be reserved with your ticket.

September in southern Arizona means the tail end of monsoon season. The festival runs rain or shine; if there's lightning we'll pause music and clear the pool until it passes.

Tickets are non-refundable, but they're transferable — send yours to a friend if your plans change. If we cancel the event outright, you'll be refunded in full.

Yes — outside food and alcohol are both allowed, coolers included. Two conditions: nothing in glass, and you take your trash home with you. Riot Grill is also on site all day if you'd rather not haul a cooler up the hill.

No bar — bring your own. Alcohol is permitted in cans or plastic only, and the no-glass rule is enforced at the gate. Please drink like someone who has to drive down a dark mountain road, or reserve a camping spot.

SPF26 is put on by a small crew and a lot of volunteers. We need hands on gates, water stations, load-in, and cleanup. One 3-hour volunteer shift gets you into the festival free, plus SPF26 merch while supplies last.
